Developer
Dara is an audiovisual artist / developer with interest in algorithmic composition and adaptive systems. He holds a PhD in Music Composition from the University of Edinburgh. He has been developing game-like experiences and performance pieces in Unity for the past 8 years. He creates nonlinear compositions that aim to blur the boundaries between contemporary audio-visual art and video games. As a developer, he’s worked on web and Unity based applications in areas such as data visualisation, games and XR.
Researcher (on research sabbatical 2026-27)
Isabella (Izzy) Inskip is a digital sculptor and researcher who uses digital visualisation to explore South Asian and Mughal visual culture, including the social and political significance of Mughal encampments in the seventeenth century. She works hands-on with the tools of production: trained in sculpture and fine art, she develops 3D and digital visualisation work, and serves as a Multimedia Technician in the University of Edinburgh's uCreate Makerspace.
She contributed to Digital Munya 2 and was on both the history and technical teams for Digital Munya 3, the collaboration with Ubisoft World Design Director Maxime Durand, where her digital sculpture and visualisation skills fed directly into building a historically grounded game world.
She is a PhD candidate in History of Art at Edinburgh, holding an MSc in Global Premodern Art and an undergraduate degree in Fine Art from the same institution.
Her focus is historically informed storytelling and turning academic research into accessible outputs.
